The good news is that dogs doesn’t get ill from salmonella infection if their immune system is healthy as dogs with bad immune system are usually affected the most.

This is why it’s best to feed dogs cook eggs as it reduce the risk of Salmonella infection. Though a lot of vet says that cooking the eggs tend to destroy tge nutritional value.

Also, when feeding your dogs eggs, make sure to do so in moderation as too many eggs can lead to your dog having an upset stomach and even obesity over a period of time. Make sure not to feed your dog more than one egg per day.

As mentioned above, some vet doesn’t think it would be a good idea to cook eggs as it will eliminate some of its health benefits. As with all foods out there, there is a risk of egg actually causing gastrointestinal upset or even allergic reaction. In rare circumstances, food allergies can lead to anaphylaxis, which is said to be life threatening.

We don’t think you should ever provide your dog with more than one eggs per day, and even that it too much for a pup.
